Tunheim Garden members will be recognized on Nov. 1

MADISON, S.D. - The Dakota State University Athletics Department will be recognizing the members of the Tunheim Garden during halftime of DSU women's basketball season home opener versus Grace College (Neb.) on Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
Nancy and Dr. Jerald Tunheim established this endowment in 2008. With help from family and friends, Nancy and Dr. Tunheim plant, maintain and harvest the garden. Many families purchase memberships that entitle them to the garden produce that help increase the endowment. Scholarships from the endowment are given to DSU women's basketball players who meet the established grade point average requirement and are selected for this scholarship recognition each year.
