Ed Harter Classic features veterans and firefighters

MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State University will be hosting its annual Ed Harter Classic at DSU Fieldhouse this weekend. DSU will be honoring our veterans and Madison's firefighters in this weekend's festivities.
DSU will be hosting a basketball tripleheader on Friday afternoon. The Trojan women's basketball team hosts York (Neb.) with a tip-off starting at 2 p.m.
The Ed Harter Classic's two-day event kicks off on Friday night with Graceland (Iowa)-Mayville State match-up at 5:30 p.m., followed by DSU hosting No. 23 Morningside at 7:30 p.m.
Dakota State will be honoring our veterans during the half-time of the Mustangs-Trojans game on Friday as part of Veteran's Day. Veterans receive free admission to the game with their military ID.
On Saturday, Dakota State honors the Madison Fire Department starting at 2:45 p.m. at DSU Fieldhouse. Trojan Fire Day recognizes the firefighters and their outstanding dedication to the community. The celebration begins at 3 p.m. with a display of the Madison fire trucks.
Mayville State and Morningside will tip-off at 4 p.m., followed by Graceland-DSU in the night cap at 6 p.m. Special events will take place before and during DSU men's basketball game versus Graceland. Half-time events include a firefighter's contest and awarding the prizes. Firefighters receive free admission to the game.
DSU students and staff are free with their university ID card for their admission to all the games this weekend at DSU Fieldhouse.
