Kruggel named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 College Division

MADISON, S.D. - Stephanie Kruggel of Dakota State University volleyball team continues her stellar academic and athletic careers at DSU.
The CoSIDA (College of Sports Information Directors of America) has selected Kruggel to its Academic All-District 6 College Division team, released Thursday. To be nominated to the CoSIDA Academic All-District ballot, the student-athlete needs to have at least 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and must be at least sophomore in eligibility. A group of sports information directors from all over the United State vote for the nominees on the ballot.
Kruggel is a senior Elementary Education major at Dakota State University. She was named to Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) scholar-athletes for three years. In addition, Kruggel earned the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honor in her junior year.
Stephanie Kruggel is the daughter of Gary and Lori Kruggel of Winthrop, Minn.
Dakota State begins their postseason play Friday morning as they face La Sierra (Calif.) in the first match of the pool play at 11 a.m. (Central Time)/10 a.m. (Mountain Time). The Trojans play Mayville State in DSU's second pool play match at 7 p.m. (CT)/6 p.m. (MT). All matches will be held at Fultz Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Ariz.
