Forster - 6'0", 160 lbs. right-handed pitcher - will graduate from McCook Central High School this spring.  He was a member of the Howard/Canova/Salem Legion state tournament participant in 2011.

"The recruiting process with Jon was very easy," said Hortness.  "He knew what he wanted to study in school.  He is a good student and is a good baseball player.  Jon will come in and with his work ethic, be competing for innings on the mound right away.  We are excited to have another local South Dakota athlete in our program."

Jon is the son of Terry and Becki Forster of Salem.  He plans to study in Computer and Network Security at Dakota State University.
