Trojan Softball kicks off 2012 season with split at Myrtle Beach, S.C.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Dakota State University softball team opened their 2012 season in the Snowbird Tournament with a split with King's College (Pa.).
The Trojans kicked off the season with a 4-3 victory in the first game of the doubleheader. The Lady Monarchs rallied back to take the second game from DSU by the score of 10-8.
Dakota State continues their 12-game schedule in the Snowbird Tournament Monday. The Trojans will face Immaculata (Pa.) at 9:30 a.m. and Southern Vermont at 11:30 a.m.
