MADISON, S.D. – The Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) selected Dakota State's Andy Coy as its male athlete of the week, announced Monday morning.

He claimed the men's 1000-meter run title in the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field National Championship meet on Saturday afternoon. Coy posted a new DSU's school record time of two minutes and 24.94 seconds, eclipsing his old record of 2:25.47.
