Dakota State splits with St. Joseph’s (N.Y.) in softball action

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Dakota State University softball team returned back to action Saturday morning in the Snowbird Tournament.  The Trojans split a doubleheader action with Saint Joseph's from New York.

Dakota State's overall record currently stands at 7-3 after Saturday's games.

St. Joseph's won the first game by the score of 7-3.  DSU bounced back in the winning column by winning the second game 8-0 in five innings.

Dakota State concludes their 12-game schedule in the Snowbird Tournament on Sunday.  The Trojans face Gettysburg College (Pa.) at 11 a.m. and Mount St. Vincent College (N.Y.) at 1 p.m. in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
