Trojans wrap up Snowbird Softball Tournament with a split Sunday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Dakota State University softball team played their final day of the Snowbird Tournament Sunday.  The Trojans gained a split and completed with an 8-4 record in the tournament.

Dakota State defeated Gettysburg College (Pa.) in the first game by the score of 3-2.  The Trojans fell short in the final game of the tournament to Mount St. Vincent College of New York 3-1.

DSU returns home on Saturday, March 17 for their season home opener.  The Trojans host Northwestern (Iowa) of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in a doubleheader.  First game is set for 4 p.m. at Thue Complex in Madison, S.D.
