Trojan runners compete in USF Invitational Day One

USF INVITATIONAL DAY 1 RESULTS

Summer BronsonSIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Despite three-hour severe weather delay that rolled in the Sioux Falls area, three Dakota State University runners participated in the first day of the University of Sioux Falls Invitational Friday.  The meet was held at the Lilibridge Track and Field.

Summer Bronson recorded a time of 15.89 seconds for a seventh-place finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles prelims.  She qualified for the finals, which will be held tomorrow.  Bronson placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.11, which is the fifth fastest time in the DSU school record book.

Claire BeckIn the women's 400-meter dash, Claire Beck finished seventh with a time of 1:02.06.

Chance Clason clocked a time of 11.93 seconds for a 12th place finish in the men's 100-meter dash.

Dakota State continues their action in the second day of the USF Invitational Saturday.
