DSU Baseball offers youth fall league and showcaseMADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University baseball team is offering a youth fall league and a junior/senior prospect showcase this fall. 

In the DSU's Inaugural Youth Fall Baseball League, the league will be held on Sunday afternoons in September and October.  It will begin on Sept. 9 and runs through Oct. 14.  Teams will be split up with an even number of players on each team and teams will be coached by current DSU baseball players.  There will be an 8-10 year old division and a 10-12 year old division.  Team shirts will be provided, along with helmets, bats and catcher's gear.  Participants will need to supply their own hat, glove and baseball pants.  Each participant will need to play $75 before the start of the games on Sept. 9.

The junior/senior prospect showcase will be held on Sept. 22.  The showcase is for the serious-minded ball player that has the desire to play at the collegiate level.  The cost for each participant is $30.
