Trojan men’s cross country team receives votes in the first-regular season NAIA national poll

2012 NAIA MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COACHES' TOP 25 POLL - No. 1
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dakota State men's cross country team received votes recognition in the first edition of the 2012 NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 national poll, the national office released Wednesday.
The Trojans tallied seven points to the national poll. The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/independents/unaffiliated groups. The second regular-season Top 25 poll will be announced on Sept. 19.
Dakota State will kick off their 2012 season at home on Saturday morning. The Trojans host the Herb Blakely Invitational at the Madison Country Club. The men's race is slated to start at approximately 11:15 a.m.
