Dakota State to host Independent Volleyball Jamboree this weekend

INDEPENDENT VOLLEYBALL JAMBOREE TOURNAMENT PAGE
MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State will be hosting the Independent Volleyball Jamboree this weekend at the DSU Fieldhouse. Six independent schools, including five members from the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) conference (DSU, Ashford (Iowa), Jamestown (N.D.), Mayville State (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) and an NCAA Division II school (South Dakota Mines) will compete in the two-day event. The jamboree kicks off with the first match between Dakota State and Ashford on Friday at 10 a.m.
A total of 12 matches will be played in the two-day event at the DSU Fieldhouse. Each team will play a total of four matches in the two-day event (two matches on each day).
Ashford is a newcomer to the A.I.I. conference this year. The Saints will be playing four matches against members of the A.I.I. in the jamboree – Dakota State, Mayville State, Jamestown and Valley City State
South Dakota Mines will battle against all four former Dakota Athletic Conference foes. The Hardrockers face Mayville State and Jamestown on Friday, and DSU and Valley City State on Saturday.
Jamestown and Ashford will kick off on the second day of the jamboree on Saturday at 9 a.m. The jamboree concludes at 7 p.m. with a match-up between Dakota State and Mayville State.

10 a.m. – Dakota State (S.D.) vs. Ashford (Iowa)
12 p.m. – Mayville State (N.D.) vs. South Dakota Mines
2 p.m. – Jamestown (N.D.) vs. Valley City State (N.D.)
4 p.m. – Ashford (Iowa) vs. Mayville State (N.D.)
6 p.m. – South Dakota Mines vs. Jamestown (N.D.)
8 p.m. – Dakota State (S.D.) vs. Valley City State (N.D.)
Saturday, September 22
9 a.m. – Jamestown (N.D.) vs. Ashford (Iowa)
11 a.m. – Ashford (Iowa) vs. Valley City State (N.D.)
1 p.m. – Mayville State (N.D.) vs. Jamestown (N.D.)
3 p.m. – Dakota State (S.D.) vs. South Dakota Mines
5 p.m. – South Dakota Mines vs. Valley City State (N.D.)
7 p.m. – Dakota State (S.D.) vs. Mayville State (N.D.)
