Lady T’s basketball team gets ready for 2012-13 season

2012-13 DSU LADY T'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

Lady T's head coach Jeff Dittman gives instructions to his players in the recent DSU's practice.MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University Lady T's basketball team stays busy this month with practices as they prepare for their 2012-13 season.

Jeff Dittman, who will start his second coaching stint with the Lady T's and 16th season as head coach at DSU, has 20 players on this year's roster.  Dakota State returns seven different starters from last year's team.

The Lady T's will have two scrimmage games against a pair of Great Plains Athletic Conference members on Saturday (tomorrow).  DSU plays Briar Cliff (Iowa) at 10:30 a.m. and Morningside (Iowa) at 1:30 p.m. at the campus of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.Yui Onodera works on her shooting drills in Lady T's recent practice.

Dakota State kicks off their 2012-13 season at DSU Fieldhouse.  The Lady T's will host Oglala Lakota (S.D.) in DSU's season home opener on Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m.  DSU's 2012-13 schedule includes 27 regular-season games along with four exhibition games.
