DSU Basketball to host post-Halloween costume party Thursday

MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University's basketball teams kick off their 2012-13 season at home Thursday evening as they host Oglala Lakota (S.D.).  DSU will be hosting the post-Halloween costume party with prizes for children as well as for college students.

DSU Athletics will be awarding the prizes at the halftime of the men's basketball game.  The winners need to be in Halloween costume to receive the prizes.  The prizes include:

  • Scariest – winner will receive a personal cooler with 6-pack Coke and assorted candy bars.
  • Sports-themed – winner will receive a personal cooler with 6-pack Coke and assorted candy bars.
  • Group – winner will receive a personal cooler with 6-pack Coke and assorted candy bars with free Trojan Combos from concession stand for four people.
  • Kids – winner will receive a mini cooler with bottle of water and assorted candy bars.

The Lady T's basketball game will start at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 7:30 p.m.  The games will be at the DSU Fieldhouse.
