Olson signs letter-of-intent to join Lady T's basketball program

MADISON, S.D. - Head Coach Jeff Dittman is proud to announce the signing of BreeAna Olson of Nunda, S.D. to join the Lady T's Basketball program in 2013-14.
Olson will graduate from Rutland High School this spring. She is currently having a stellar athletic career with the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Raiders.
Olson averages 16 points, four rebounds, four assists and 4.2 steals per game for the Raiders. She was named to the Dakota Valley Conference First Team All-Conference twice. In addition, she was selected to the Brookings All-Register Team two times.
Under the guidance of Raiders girls' basketball head coach Sara Holmberg, Olson was named the District 4B Championship Player of the Game her sophomore year.
Olson was also chosen the Most Valuable Player twice for the Raiders.
Olson was an All-Conference selection in volleyball. In addition, she is an outstanding track and field runner. She qualified for the state track meet each year in her high school career, including a state track appearance as an eighth-grader. She was an integral member of the Raiders girls' track and field team that captured Class 'B' state titles in 2010 and 2011, along with runner-up honor in 2012 and a fourth-place finish in 2009.
Besides her athletic accomplishments, Olson is a member of the National Honor Society and listed in the Honor Roll.
BreeAna is the daughter of Reggie and DaNeil Olson.
