Hamblin selected to CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 College Division

MADISON, S.D. – Junior Courtney Hamblin of Dakota State University Lady T's basketball team has earned an academic award for her success in academics at DSU.
The CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) has selected Hamblin to its Academic All-District 6 College Division team, released Thursday. She was named to this prestigious honor for her second straight year.
To be nominated to the CoSIDA Academic All-District ballot, the student-athlete needs to have at least 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and must be at least sophomore in eligibility. A group of sports information directors from all over the United States vote for the nominees on the ballot.
Hamblin is a Biology major at Dakota State University.
Courtney is the daughter of Mike and Helen Hamblin of Rangiora, New Zealand.
Dakota State kicks off their final two-game home stand at DSU Fieldhouse. The Lady T's welcome the nationally-ranked Jamestown (N.D.). Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
