Trojan Baseball season opener at Ottawa (Kan.) canceled

MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University baseball team will have to wait for their season opener next Saturday, Feb. 16.  The Trojans' season opener at Ottawa (Kan.) scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to wet conditions.

There will be no make-up date.

Dakota State will travel to Leavenworth, Kan. next weekend for a four-game series with Saint Mary.   DSU and USM play a doubleheader on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 with a game time starting at 1 p.m. each day.

The Trojans play a nine-inning game at Peru State (Neb.) on Feb. 18 in Peru, Neb.  The game is slated to start at 2 p.m.
