Westover named A.I.I. Division II Women’s Basketball All-Conference

MADISON, S.D. – Kylie Westover of Dakota State University Lady T's basketball has been selected to the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Division II All-Conference second team, announced on Tuesday evening.
Westover, a 5-foot-6-inch junior guard from Colman, S.D., led the Lady t's with 15.1 points per game. She drained 49 3-poitners during the 2012-13 season. According to the DakStats-NAIA statistical website as of Tuesday, she ranks 50th in the nation in 3-point field goals made per game (2.0). She was 147-for-364 from the field (40.4 percent) and 49-for-154 (31.8 percent) from the 3-point arc this season. She converted 37 free-throws in 45 attempts (82.2 percent)
Westover drained a total of 160 3-pointers during her career at Dakota State. She is listed as the fourth most career 3-pointers in the Lady T's record book.
Mayville State's (N.D.) Marcisa McMillan has been named the A.I.I. Division II Women's Basketball Conference Player of the Year, while Jamestown (N.D.) head coach Greg Ulland has been named the Coach of the Year.
Kylie is the daughter of Rich and Kelley Westover. She is studying Business Management at Dakota State University.
