Lee II listed in 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA D-II Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete

2012-13 DAKTRONICS-NAIA DIVISION II MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHOLAR-ATHLETES

Keith Lee IIKANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that 134 student-athletes have been named 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA Division II Men’s basketball Scholar-Athletes.  Senior Keith Lee II of Dakota State University earned this prestigious honor.

Student-athletes are nominated by their institution’s head coach and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order to qualify for the honor.

Keith, a 5-foot-11-inch guard, is the son of Keith and Patrice Lee of Navarre, Fla.  He is majoring in Business Management/Marketing at Dakota State University.

DSU completed their historic season with a school-record 24 victories and advanced to the NAIA ‘Elite Eight’ for the second time in DSU men’s basketball school history.  The Trojans captured their second straight Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Division II Men’s Basketball Conference Postseason Tournament.
