MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State men's basketball team started the second-half with a strong start to defeat their in-state rival Mount Marty 67-49 Tuesday night at DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans held the Lancers' starters to 13 points in the game as DSU won their fourth straight game (all at home).

The Trojans welcome two in-state teams, hosting Mount Marty (10-12, 6-9 in the Great Plains Athletic conference) on Tuesday night and University of Sioux Falls (12-7) on Saturday night. Tuesday's tip-off is slated to start at 8 p.m. as part of DSU Faculty/Staff Appreciation night. The game starting time on Saturday night is set for 7:30 p.m. as part of DSU's advertising sponsorships recognition night.

In addition, the Trojans outrebounded the Hardrockers 45-18 in the game for a 85-69 DSU victory.

MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State shot 57.7 percent (15-for-26) in the second-half (after trailing by one-point at halftime) to defeat Black Hills State 79-70 Friday night to kick-off their five-game home stand at DSU Fieldhouse. DSU recorded at least 11 wins for the third straight seasons for the first time since 1989 to 1994 (five straight seasons with more than 11 wins).
