The Trojans are ranked No. 14 (tie) in the 2012-13 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Postseason 'Top 25' national poll.

ABERDEEN, S.D. - Dakota State men's basketball recruit and James Valley Christian High School standout Adam Hofer was selected for the Spirit of 'Su' prestigious award, announced at the recent State Class 'B' High School Boys' Basketball Tournament at the Barnett Center Saturday night. In addition, he was also named to the State 'B' All-Tournament Team.

Saturday evening in the 22nd Annual NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament 'Elite Eight.' The Lancers used a strong second-half finish to defeat the Trojans 72-59 at the Keeter Gymnasium on the campus of College of the Ozarks.
