MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State University second-year men's basketball head coach Gary Garner has released the Trojans' 2010-11 schedule. The season will be highlighted by 12 home games. The Trojans will play three different classics, including a home classic in honor of DSU's long-time men's basketball coach Ed Harter.

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 92 Division II men's basketball players have been named 2010 Daktronics-Scholar Athletes. Brian Bolin and Jackson Parr of Dakota State had received this prestigious award.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. - The Dakota State University men's basketball team faced Valley City State in the DAC post-season tournament Wednesday night at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse. The seventh-seed Trojans trailed 32-27 at halftime to the second seeded Vikings. Valley City State outscored the Trojans 39-27 in the second half for a 71-54 victory over the Trojans.

The Dakota State University men's basketball team ended their regular season with two losses in North Dakota. The Trojans suffered a heartbreaking loss to Valley City State on Friday night. DSU could not get a win over Jamestown Saturday night. As a result, the Trojans will be the seventh seed for the DAC Postseason tournament, starting on Wednesday.

MADISON, S.D. - The Trojan men's basketball team played their final home regular season game Tuesday night at the DSU Fieldhouse. DSU welcomed Trinity Bible for both teams' second meeting of the season. The Trojans led 36-23 at halftime and never looked back as DSU defeated Trinity Bible 84-59.

Dakota State's Derek Kreutzfeldt nailed two free throws with 9.7 seconds left for Trojans' 69-66 lead. Clay Pottorff of Black Hills State missed a 3-pointer from left wing as the Trojans secured their 10th win of the season.
