MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State University Trojan football's defensive coordinator Kenny Hayes has resigned. He accepted high school teaching and coaching positions at Patagonia High School in Patagonia, Ariz.

MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State football announced its 2013 schedule on Wednesday. The ten-game schedule includes four home games at the Trojan Field. DSU will also play in the new conference where the Trojans are scheduled to play four conference games, all on the road.

DALLAS - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced Thursday the members of the 2013 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all division of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career. John Niesen of Dakota State University was one of the 703 players from 259 schools qualified for membership in the society's seventh year, marking the highest school participation in the history of the program, which began in 2007.

HARRISBURG, S.D. - In the annual Dakota State spring football game on April 20 (Saturday), the current players' Blue team held on to defeat the alumni White team 10-7 at the Harrisburg High School football game. The spring football game was moved to Harrisburg due to unfavorable playing conditions at DSU's home Trojan Field.
