&lt;p&gt;STARKVILLE, Miss. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced the 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region teams.&amp;nbsp; This season, 160 student-athletes representing 65 institutions were chosen in each of the five NFCA regions.&amp;nbsp; Freshman Emily Kulp of Dakota State was named to West All-Region team as an at-large selection.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

The Trojans opened their final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) tournament as a seventh seed. DSU faced the tournament's No. 2 seed and host team Minot State on Friday morning at South Hill Complex. Dakota State fell short for an upset bid over Minot State in the opening round, 4-3 in eight innings.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
