MADISON, S.D. - The Dakota State University Fieldhouse will be hosting two club volleyball tournaments this weekend. The 14-and-under takes place on Saturday (March 23) and 18-and-under tournament will be on Sunday (March 24).

MADISON, S.D. - Madison Area Junior Olympic Club Volleyball skills assessment for grades 5-8 that was scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday, Feb. 10) has been postponed to next Sunday, Feb. 17 from 2:30-5 p.m. at the DSU Fieldhouse.

The loss ended DSU's volleyball season with an overall record of 12-20 and 2-6 in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) conference record.

The Trojans visited the nationally-ranked Midland (Neb.), a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), at the Event Center. MADISON, S.D. - Dakota State outhit Presentation (S.D.) 57-32 in kills Tuesday night as the Trojans swept the season series with the Saints with a 3-1 victory (25-15, 22-25, 25-17 and 25-12) at DSU Fieldhouse. Kristen DiPaola opened the fourth set by smashing her 1000th career kill through two seasons with the Trojans.

THIS WEEK: Dakota State (11-14 overall record) volleyball team plays their final home regular-season match on Tuesday night at DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans entertain Presentation (S.D.) (3-20) with the first serve set for 7 p.m. Seniors will be recognized prior to the match. In addition, DSU Faculty/Staff Appreciation night will be held. DSU heads to Nebraska this weekend for a pair of matches. The Trojans visit No. 23 Midland (Neb.) (15-8) on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Fremont at the Event Center. On Saturday afternoon, DSU makes the trip to the Lied Fitness Center in Omaha for a match-up with Saint Mary (Neb.) (12-16). First serve is slated for 3 p.m.
