MADISON, S.D. - Chelsey Foster and Anne Knippling both signed letter-of-intents to join the women's volleyball at Dakota State University. They will join the team this coming fall.

MADISON, S.D. - Senior Stephanie Kruggel and junior Kristen DiPaola of Dakota State University volleyball team had earned volleyball postseason honors from the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.). They had been integral members of the DSU volleyball team that established the most wins since 2005 and helped DSU qualify for the A.I.I. Volleyball Postseason Tournament held in Phoenix, Ariz. last weekend.

PHOENIX, Ariz. - In the opening day of the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) volleyball post-season tournament at Fultz Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Arizona Christian, the fifth-seed Dakota State dropped two tough matches to the top-seed La Sierra (Calif.) and fourth-seed Mayville State. The losses ended the season for DSU as they finished with the most wins since 2005.

THIS WEEK: The Dakota State University volleyball team prepares for their postseason action this weekend in Phoenix, Ariz. The Trojans will compete in the Association of Independent (A.I.I.) postseason tournament, starting with pool play on Friday. The semifinals and championship matches will take place on Saturday. The tournament is held at the Fultz Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Arizona Christian University.

MADISON, S.D. - Stephanie Kruggel recorded her 1000th career kill at Dakota State University in the fourth set versus Oklahoma Wesleyan on Saturday morning. The Trojans overcame a slow start with double digits attack errors in the opening set and defeated Eagles and Mayville State each in four sets. It was the Trojans’ seventh win in the last eight matches.
