2011-2012 Track Roster

• Posted a jump of 22’06’50” and was a state champion in the long jump and the 4x100 relay for Winslow High School.
• Placed 3rd in the 400-meters and fourth in the triple jump at the state meet.

High School:

• Competed on State Champions cross country team both his junior and senior seasons...ran a leg on the 4 x 800-meter relay that finished runner-up at Howard Wood Relays...had personal bests of 2:08 (800-meters) and 4:56 (1600-meters).

Freshman:

• Finished 33rd in cross country at the DAC Championships and had a season best of 29:08 for 8K...clocked a personal best of 2:03.20 in the 4 x 800-meter relay that finised runner-up at the Outdoor DAC Championships...ran a 4;23.66 for 1500-meters at the Trojan Invitational.

High School:

• Ran for Oldham-Ramona/Rutland...lettered cross country and track for six seasons (also lettered in basketball for three seasons)...Dakota Valley Conference cross country runner-up (junior) and champion (senior)...runner-ups in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs in the Daktoa Valley Conference meet in his junior season...champions in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs at the Dakota Valley Conference meet in his senior season.

High School:

• Competed for Hill City where he was a multiple varsity letter award winner in basketball, football, track and cross country.  Coy finished 3rd at the high school cross country state meet as a senior in a time of 16:37.3. 

Senior:

• Established a new 8K personal record placing 8th at the Briar Cliff Invitational (25:36.09).
• DAC All-Confernce in cross country.
• Qualified for NAIA National Cross Country Meet, placing 136th out of 326 runners.
• Redshirt indoor and outdoor track.

Junior:

• DAC All-Conference in cross country, Part of 2009 DAC Cross Country Conference Championship Team.
• Qualified for NAIA National Cross Country Meet, Placed 127th as part of DSU's 16th Place National Team Finish.
• Part of 2 national Runner-Up Relays at the 2010 NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships resulting in 2 All-Americans.
• Also established 2 school records in the Indoor 4 x 800 Relay (7:43.32), and split 1:51.90 on the Indoor DMR (10:01.78).
• Won Sioux City Relays steeplechase in a new DSU school record of 9:21.55
• Ran a personal record in the 1500 at the Sioux Falls Last Chance meet (3:57.19).
• Was part of a third place 4 x 800 Relay finish at 2010 NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championship, picking up his 3rd All-American.
• Also established a school record in the 4 x 800 relay (7:30.74).

Sophomore:

• Redshirt during cross country.
• Finished runner-up at the John Dalton Invitational in the 1000-meters (2:32.51).
• Split 1:54.90 on the 800 leg of the DMR that posted a new school record finishing 9th at indoor nationals.
• Split 3:05 (1200 meters) to lead off the DMR and set a new Sioux City Relays record.
• Posted 9:33.64 in the 3000-meter steeplechase to qualify for outdoor NAIA Championships.
• Finished 3rd in first outdoor 5K (15:49.00) at the DAC Championships.

• Finished 24th at the DAC Cross Country Championships clocking 27:34 for 8K.
• Indoors, posted a 4:37 (mile) and 2:44.82 (1000-meters) at the Bill Hillenbrand Invitational.
• At the Outdoor Championships, finished 5th in the Steeplechase.
• Posted Personal Bests: in both the 3000-meter steeplechase (9:53.58) and the 800-meters (1:58.71) at the Concordia Twilight.

• Finished a career high 19th at the state cross country meet his senior season.
• Ran 9:59 for 3200-meters at the state meet and finished runner-up after anchoring the 4 x 800 to a 3rd place finish.

• Competed for Hill City in football, basketball and track.
• Recieved one varsity letter and all-state in track.

• Qualified both his junior and senior seasons for the state meet,
• Personal Bests: finished of 18th at the state meet in 2008.
• Posted a Personal Bests: 5K time of 17:15 during 2008.
• Qualified for the state track meet in the 800-meters.

• Indoors competed in the 600 meters and posted a season best 1:31.52.
• Ran a 2:03 split in the 4 x 800 relay that finished runner-up at the Outdoor DAC Championships.
• Posted a 5-second Personal Bests: when ran 2:03.12 (800-meters) at the Sioux City Relays.

• Competed on State Champions Cross Country team his senior season.
• Ran a leg on the 4 x 800 relay that finished runner-up at the Howard Wood Relays and went on to win the state title in 2008.
• Had a Personal Bests: of 2:08 (800-meters).
